Jen offers counselling to adolescents and adults including couples and families.
Jen believes that healing happens relationally through genuine connection, and that clients are the true experts of their own experiences. She takes a compassionate, non-judgmental approach and meets clients where they are. Jen draws from various therapeutic approaches, including narrative, solution-focused, and experiential techniques, to create a supportive and inclusive space. With warmth, curiosity, and a sense of humor, she supports clients as they navigate their growth and deepen their self-understanding.
Her practice involves supporting individual adults, couples, and families navigating a variety of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, stress, general overwhelm and perinatal/postpartum related concerns. Jen has a particular interest in working with people-pleasing and perfectionistic tendencies, and understanding the underlying traumas and stories we tell ourselves that sit in behind and foster burnout.
Jen is currently a Master of Counselling student with Yorkville University and completing her internship with Motion Counselling and Wellness in the Affordable Counselling Program, offering sessions at a reduced rate.
