Her integrative and collaborative approach is rooted in trauma-informed, person-centered, harm reduction, and strength-based methods, with branches in narrative therapy, trauma-focused CBT, feminist perspectives, existential exploration, and family systems models. She also integrates holistic healing through ecotherapy, art expression, somatic awareness, self-compassion, and nervous system regulation.

Elena has extensive experience supporting individuals with disabilities, including autism, Down syndrome, chronic illness, and brain injuries. She also assists with advocacy and system navigation, such as return-to-work planning, disability support, and court preparation.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a focus on teaching from the University of the Fraser Valley and a Master’s in Education in Counselling from the University of Northern British Columbia.
