Tori works as a School-Based Mental Health Clinician in Kelowna and has a passion for providing comprehensive counselling services to clients she is working with. She is thrilled to be completing her internship with Motion Counseling as she completes her Master of Counselling Program through Yorkville University.
With over five years of experience working with individuals and families, Tori has developed a specialty in parenting support and strategies, focusing on emotional regulation for children and youth with ADHD, anxiety and low mood. She utilizes a collective approach to counselling, integrating a variety of modalities and focusing on building relationships with clients to establish a collaborative approach tailored to their unique needs.
Tori brings a unique perspective to her counselling practice, drawing on her lived experiences and knowledge gained from her time playing hockey for the University of Guelph and the University of Regina, as well as her passion for trail running and teaching fitness classes in the community. She has integrated this knowledge into her clinical practice, providing clients with a comprehensive approach to counselling.
Tori's counselling approach is based on emotional-focused therapy, both in couples and individual counselling. She is excited to be part of the Affordable Counselling Program offered by Motion Counselling, aligning with her values of providing equitable services.
