Megan joins our team with a wealth of life experience in mental health advocacy and resilience training from her previous career as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. She is especially passionate about working with health care and emergency response workers, veterans, people undergoing career or life transitions, and members of the LGTBQ2A+ community.

Megan’s therapeutic approach is grounded in self-compassion and collaboration to create a path that feels right for each client. She approaches therapy from a trauma-informed, neurobiological, and strength-based framework. Her approach includes principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Expressive Art Therapy.

Offering a warm and non-judgemental perspective, Megan believes in meeting you where you are and drawing on your intrinsic strengths to grow from your challenges. Megan works with individuals, couples, and families.

Megan holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She is a candidate for her Registered Clinical Counsellor designation. Megan is now accepting new clients with services offered at a pre-registration rate. Registration is expected in February/March of 2023.
